THE Cockney slang term ‘bun house,' originally meaning 'workhouse,’ has come to be used disparagingly about any social work agency. Leslie Collins has set her first television play in Butterworth House, a welfare centre run by old Miss Butterworth, daughter of the founder, and the efficient Miss Cushing. A new social worker, Miss Warner, arrives just in time to help Miss Cushing (played by Isabel Dean, in our picture above) in moving the Montgomery family to Butterworth House after a fire in their own home. But the, situation is complicated by the fact that young Margie Montgomery is due to be married on Saturday . . .
