Bring Me Sunshine was a gala concert held at the London Palladium on 28 November 1984 in the presence of the Duke of Edinburgh in aid of the British Heart Foundation and was held in memory of the comedian Eric Morecambe who had died the previous May after many years of heart problems. The programme was filmed live and televised on ITV on Christmas Day that year.



  • Introduced by Ernie Wise from the London Palladium in aid of the British Heart Foundation In the presence of Prince Philip, Patron of the Foundation, and guest of honour Mrs Joan Morecambe, the stars pay tribute to a much-loved comedian who died earlier this year. The range and quality of artistes appearing make it an outstanding show business event.
